"Makes promises he doesn’t keep.
Doesn’t coach to actually win a game, or simply doesn’t know how to utilize play making tactics.
Shows favoritism to certain players which ultimately loses games.
Does not utilize his best players. They should never be left standing on the sidelines watching less adequate players on the field.
Lacks integrity by blowing smoke up players butts , then not following through with promises he made. Keeps these players thinking they will be participating by his manipulation, just to keep them at bay, but will then betray them. He shows loudly his favoritism toward certain players he personally knows. A good coach will put forth his best players to win games, regardless... That’s integrity.
Also, a good coach won’t continue to do the same thing over and over when it’s not working.
A good coach will not break the spirit of players with promises unkept repeatedly.
A good coach will not blatantly hold good players back off field just for his own kicks as a little man power play, while continuing to show that he has no ability directing a team because he’s blinded by his own favoritism. No matter how showy a player’s background is, it doesn’t mean there aren’t other players that could do the job better being ignored standing on the sidelines. Thus, games are lost.
A good coach will understand ‘the game’ more and know how to deal with certain predicaments under pressure by doing what’s good for the team, not what’s good for the players he favors.
In a nutshell, a coach in his position needs to have integrity…. Lack thereof hurts the unity of the team and the entire association to rise to ultimate heights. "
