"Had him and I honestly don't recommend, he likes to pick favorites on his teams and they are the ones who participate in meets while the other people who weren't his favorites have to work twice as hard just to get his attention and never have a chance of going to compete. Never used racial slurs but he definitely cared about what race you were WAY more than you ran. He's also kind of creepy too, he has a favorite girl on the NCAA team who sits on his lap from time to time and it's disgusting and unprofessional. I even caught him looking inappropriately at the girls on the team. He made me feel so uncomfortable I eventually left the team and leaving was the best decisions ever. He is not professional and he definitely does not know how to coach which is shocking at his age but age doesn't always make a person wiser. He doesn't coach properly because picking favorites is dehumanizing and racial matters shouldn't be a concern be to him, it is. Please fire that basterd."

"I had Jan Olesinski as a cross country coach and I honestly DO NOT recommend. I had many coaches in the past and Jan Olesinski is by far the WORST coach i have ever experienced. I joined the NMMI cross country team and was there for only a few months because this man made my life a living hell. He asked what my race was and when I replied, it clearly that didn't sit well with him and made a lot of racial slurs towards me and he targeted me a lot and made threats towards me as well. He dehumanized me all because of my skin and even went as far as to using the N word later on my time there. I became insecure and even thought about suicide a lot and as he kept using the N word towards me, I eventually had enough courage to march into his office, set my cross country uniforms down and leave without turning back. Thankfully I wasn't on a cross country scholarship and manged to counting my life at NMMI. I switched sports and started shooting Air Rifle and M-22 rifle competition shooting. I found other hobbies and clubs to join after leave cross county but I want anyone who is reading this to know that Jan Olesinski will NEVER be a coach to me and should honestly get fired. Another that I forgot to mention is that he won a gold Olympic medal and whenever I tried defending myself from his offensive language towards he would always say that he has an Olympic Gold Medal and I don't and that I have to respect him because of his medal. I don't care if this man won the Medal of Honor, he's a racist and the rudest coach I ever had and I hope people read to realize that he is not what he seems to be. He also has a rape like side of him and his favorite girl from the female team would always sit on his and he seemed to like that and that made me uncomfortable to watch so I left and I'm super glad I left, he is not caring at all and says the worst things imaginable.
