He pulls outside resources that are available to us on campus such as academic advisors and sports psychologist to speak with us in team meetings to give us the best opportunities to be successful through our college careers."
"Coach Mac, as everyone knows him, is as good as they come. Coming out of high school is different for every kid, and he understands that. Coach Mac emphasizes 2 concepts more than anything there has to do with football. Family and academics. He understands that the guys are hours away from their families and he makes sure they feel right at home. He knows what it takes to win, has never had a losing record as head coach. It was an honor playing for him. Still look up to him as a father figure."
