"Wes is a great coach and is one of the most influential figures in Cornell swimming history. He has done more for the program than almost anyone else in the world. He managed to turn a bottom mid major program that he inherited into one of the top mid major programs in the country over his 10+ years now coaching. He also did this with very minimal resources which will only improve, so the future is even brighter. His assistants (which I am sure that he had a hand in hiring) have also been great coaches that contribute to his/the programs' success overall. "
