"A complete airhead in every aspect of life and I wouldn’t even consider her a coach. In my experience, she demonstrated very limited knowledge of volleyball and player development. Despite serving in a coaching role, I rarely saw evidence of athletes improving under her guidance. Rather than providing independent leadership or advocating for players, she often appeared unwilling to challenge decisions she knew were not in the athletes' best interests. Additionally, I was disappointed by what I perceived as a lack of support and mentorship for Black athletes. There were instances where comments and behaviors came across as microaggressions, creating an environment that felt unwelcoming and inequitable. Coaches are expected to foster growth, inclusion, and confidence in all athletes, and I believe she fell short of those responsibilities."
