"Hello I’m the one who will make sure Cody is never around women again and especially for soccer. For one main and obvious reason is he said the N*** word to some of my teammates and acted like he never did when there was two witnesses. He DESTROYED A LOT of women’s mental health at Midland University. If you don’t believe that then go check out all the women who quit and email them IMMEDIATELY. I as a player who played for him had more than 8 concussions and he knew that. Yes its my fault for playing still but he was a manipulative person who made me think it was okay. Now I suffer with memory loss and depression due to the multiple concussions I endured there. I even had to get a brain scan because of the constant headaches that I still have from not quitting earlier. I watched this man bully multiple players at practice. I watched this man talk about my prescribed Adderall to players for my diagnosed ADHD and told them at individual meetings that “I DON’T NEED THEM.” That’s laughable because it was prescribed for a reason? This man made women feel uncomfortable alone with him and AGAIN make sure you talk to multiple players before hiring him and I have coaches numbers in NEBRASKA who stated “I would not leave him alone with young girls ever.” I have that mans contact number who told me this outside of Fremont, NE. A lot of coaches disliked Cody Bartlow here in NE he just assumed they liked him but they never did. He crossed a line and I will never let a coach ruin someone else's mental health again."

"Cody Barlow is by far the worst coach I have ever encountered. He does and will single you out if you try to voice your feelings and opinions. He makes inappropriate comments towards players and should not be coaching women’s soccer. He will do everything in his power to make himself seem like he can do no wrong. He constantly makes certain players feel like they do not belong and shouldn’t not be on the team. He has drove several players to quite the sport that they have played for most of their life and have grown to love. If Bartlow is your head coach look out as he has threaten to take scholarships away after having a bad practice. Bartlow claims that players should leave their personal life off the field however will bring his own personal problems to field and show up in a constant bad mood. He makes the team feel like a burden because he constantly says “I moved away from my family to coach y’all”. Mind you more than have the girls on the team are away from their families and never complain. He has told player to fake injuries so that they can play in games, regardless to what doctors and professionals have said. Bartlow does not care about your mental health and has been the cause for many players to seek metal health services. Bartlow is not this nice and humble coach he likes to claim he his. If you are not going to bow down to dictatorship you might as well quit. He says and makes inappropriate comments towards his players. Again Cody Bartlow should not be a coach for anyone especially women’s soccer! "

"When Cody and I first met, it was during the first week of preseason at the NAIA school I played at. He was watching and supporting the team. He joined the team as my assistant coach the next year, and he not only helped me develop as a soccer player but also as a person. He demonstrated for me what it takes to be a coach and the value of culture, perseverance, and patience in creating a successful program. Though I wasn't receptive to new ideas as a player, he was very understanding and forced me to consider the things I was doing in my personal life as well as on the pitch. Coaches that help you get better for the game while also providing you with practical advice on real-world scenarios and how to handle them are coaches I always appreciate. Cody Bartlow has always struck me as kind, imaginative, hardworking, honest, modest, patient, and full of ambition. Cody's adaptability, communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills have all improved over the past four years. With these developed skills, Cody will undeniablly succeed. When it comes to honesty, Coach Cody is the kind of person who will always tell you the truth in the most polite way imaginable. He prepares athletes for what is to come in the future. Despite the fact that we live in different states, he consistently shows that he is reachable, so I know I can always rely on him. I'm grateful for everything he has taught me over the years."

"He was my coach in college and made me believe in myself as a player. He trusted me and knew I had what it took to see the field. He is an honest coach as well, if I wasn’t performing to my full potential or was in my own head he would play another player. He wasn’t afraid to communicate that to me either, which made me a stronger player and person. If you want a coach to hold you accountable for your attitude, performance in school, and effort on the field, then he is the perfect fit for you. He was very knowledgeable of the game and built players IQ of the game. He is clear with his expectations and holds everyone to those standards. "

"I think that Cody is one of the best coaches I have ever had!! He’s the reason why I came to midland, and I have never regretted my decision! After my second season at a previous school I was about to quit soccer because of many reasons but he gave me hope and so much trust that I was able to enjoy playing soccer again which I hadn't been able to experience for at least a year. Cody had taught me so much in so little time and I am so thankful that I had him as my coach. I respect Cody so much as a coach and a person, and I will never forget how much time and effort he put in every day!! I am just very thankful for the opportunity he gave me!!"

"I chose this university in America because of Cody. I could see his philosophy, commitment and knowledge for this sport and the team right from our first conversation. I am very grateful to him for trusting me and helping me on and off the field and especially with my injury and always being there for me. I can always count on Cody. A lot of people never really realized it, but I appreciated how much time he sacrifices for this team and additionally do off the pitch, even though he doesnt have to. I have learned so much from him and he's definitely been the best coach I have ever experienced. I have grown not only as a footballer but also as a person because of his mentoring. "

"Cody is the reason I found love for the sport again. After previous coaching experiences I was lacking motivation/confidence as an athlete, not sure if I was willing to keep playing. Cody helped me find myself again and helped me find the passion for the sport I was missing. I learned tremendous amounts of soccer knowledge under him as well as life lessons. Never had a coach as passionate, driven, and present. Family is the strongest motive for his culture. "

"Coach Bartlow took a chance on me as a player and wanted to work with me and make sure that I could reach my full potential on and off the pitch. I found him encouraging in the sense that he wanted to work on the little things so that bigger issues didn't always feel so big. He had a major impact on my outside of soccer life. I learned how to stand up for myself and fight for what I know is right for me. He has always supported my decisions and wanted me to succeed. I personally have never had a bad experience with Cody, nor has my skills suffered. I have grown and learned so much while being his player. He always wanted our team to fight for one another and share the strongest bonds and create the FAMILY environment. I have never had more fun or more confidence on the pitch then when I played for Coach Bartlow. "

"Cody was my middle and high school coach. He made me a better player on the pitch and an even better person off the pitch. He’s the first one to believe in you but is also not afraid to call you out and work with you until you get something right. He never gives up on you and inspires you to be better than you ever thought you could be. He makes you a hard worker and won’t take many excuses, never wanting to hear the words “I can’t”, if you do, it usually results in pushups. He’s got a great IQ and is always willing to hear ideas from his players and willing to make adjustments if somethings not working. I’ve had plenty of poor coaches throughout the years but Cody consistently reminded why I love the game and who and what I play for. He took a shy girl and allowed me to be a leader and develop a voice for my girls. He took a team with half of the girls having little to no soccer experience and turned the program around leading us to division championships and state runs. He’s the first to give you a hug after a game and remind you that he’s proud of you. I’ve shared many of my greatest soccer moments and memories with Cody as my head coach and I would have never made it as far without him. I know I always have him in my corner in all aspects of life. Plus he’s a Man U fan so that’s a plus and always has time to talk about Premier League and his faith. "

"This coach changed my life. I played high school soccer with him and he made me love the sport again and made it fun and not something I had to do, but something I got to do. He pushed me to take chances and to love the game every second. Him coaching me is still the best time of my life playing soccer. He helped me have the best years playing and always valued me as a player and a person. I was about to take a free kick from around half field, maybe closer, and he told me to go for it and shoot, not loft in. I thought he was crazy for telling me that because there was no way I could do that. But I did what he said and ended up scoring a bomb from out there! He believed in me so I believed in myself. He really is one of the best coaches I’ve ever had. His level of respect for me and his team mentality is absolutely life changing. If I could go back to those years one more time and play for him I would in a heartbeat. "

"From a collegiate player of cody’s, I would 110% recommend cody. He has a high soccer iq and has grown my soccer iq immensely. He helps me feel heard and makes me feel like a human. He focuses on not only development of us as players, but as people as well. He is a coach where you have to earn your playing time, which is highly respectable. I would play for him until I couldn’t play anymore."
