Intense Old School Mentality Poor Communication Direct Fitness Is Important
"He has a very old coaching mentality, not progressive at all and creates a very cut throat and demanding environment on the field. His coaching style is very tough, aggressive, negative and micromanages everything leaving his players feel like they have no freedom when playing. It is like a dictatorship, the players have no say in anything, and if anyone questions anything they would face backlash. He has a feeling of superiority over his players, and creates a him against team environment instead of the coaching staff and team being one. He shows this by how he manhandles his players by grabbing and pushing them and telling us “he doesn’t need any of us” and “if we lose he still wins”. He strips his players of their joy of playing the game and is extremely manipulative. He does not take accountability and instead turns everything onto the team, showing very narcissistic behaviour. Throughout the season he demoralised, condescended and disrespected us. Resulting in taking a huge toll and deflating the team. It forced us to become closer with each other as we had to continually have chats to make sure everyone was coping. Many parents were concerned for their daughter’s wellbeing and there have been many instances where parents have wanted to act out of outrage. This way of coaching is not okay in this day and age and should not be accepted."

Intense Old School Mentality Poor Communication Direct Fitness Is Important
"He thrives on negativity and mind games. He attempts to use reverse psychology to achieve the results he wants. He uses a player against player mentality which only creates a team negativity that does not work successfully together for a common goal. He recruits a large number of older experienced international players each season which can sometimes be successful for the conference season. Times are changing for females and how female athletes expect and deserve to be treated. He is still very much an old school coach who does not coach with respect with his words nor his actions. This male bullying mentality era is coming to an end for most successful programs. He claims to be Christian, includes many activities and team bonding plans that include Christianity but does not set an example of Christianity himself. Wolf in sheep clothing. Beware. **learn the NCAA transfer rules yourself because they are never discussed with you as a player by anyone in any department at TJC. "
