"Gail's loyalty lies with the institution of Skidmore college and not with the athletes. She has made that clear to the players on the Skidmore softball team over and over again when they have gone to her for help with an emotionally abusive coach. The coach does not prioritize the health and well being of the students, she is toxic and she has directly caused severe anxiety of many players, of which she seems to take pride in, and also caused several players to leave softball and the school in her 3 short years with Skidmore. ALL of the players (everyone one of them) have gone to Gail with stories of the coach's inappropriate behavior interfering with their mental health and confidence. They have told her of dismissive and malicious responses made to them by the coach regarding their own mental health struggles as well as physical concerns and she continues to defend the coach. Never mind the fact that the coach is not a capable coach when it comes to the game of softball. Gail, the student affairs department and many of other departments at Skidmore including the President are aware of the major problems that this softball coach has been causing since she began and they will not do a thing to support these girls, who have been continually asking for support from the beginning and it is extremely sad to watch. She walks away from a player meeting with her head held high after these girls have poured their heart out to her with very valid points. So the bottom line is that Gail absolutely does not support student athletes when there is any kind of conflict between a player and coach, and will dismiss, disregard and deny what the athlete has to say but will defend the coach she hired until the end. "

"My team tried going to her about our emotionally abusive coach. While we were telling her what our coach has done, she sat there and defended all of it, saying we need to see things from our coach's perspective. For context, Gail defended our coach making us rank everyone on our team individually by characteristics (who was best on team/worst on team). Went to her about how Liz Neubinski's emotional abuse was affecting me mentally and she ignored everything and said she'll be back next season. If Gail wants to continue to defend Liz Neubinski and her emotinally abusive tactics running the mental health of so many young women, she should not be employed by the college. Skidmore Athletics claims to care for student athletes and their mental health, but Gail does the exact opposite."
