"Super honest and nice guy who loves the game and loves his players. He does a lot outside of soccer including panels and alumi events to help his players for the future. Could be more demanding and motivational to his players. As well as a little more mean. "
"I found wheeler to be very confusing often. Our team plans constantly shifted and ideas of how we should play were extremely contradictory. The one thing that I found frustrating is that when subbed out, players received no feedback whatsoever. Whether they played great or terrible he wouldn’t give any feedback which gets confusing as a player."
"Extremely inconsistent with his rhetoric. Says one thing one day, then changes his mind the next, etc. Unable to make up his mind, which is evident from the number of different starting lineups and substitutions he uses in the season. This speaks volumes for a losing program that still lacks an identity/system after nearly 20 years of Wheeler"
