"Heather aka “Coach” was my college coach for 4 seasons at East Tennessee State University. Apart from the close trauma bond I share with my teammates ~15 years later, she was a nightmare to play for and something I wouldn’t wish on any young female athlete. Her regular coaching mechanics involved mind games and lacked basic empathy and guidance that any coach should be able to provide to 18-22 year old women. When my teammates and I get together and reminisce on college soccer stories, we are often met with jaw dropping laughter about the true shock and mental gymnastics we had to deal with during that time. If her same “coaching style” back in ~2005-2012 occurred today, she would have national coverage and be out of a job immediately.
For any parent who is considering her recruiting/post coaching advisement company, your money would be better spent donating to a battered women’s shelter. "
