"I was blessed enough to play for Coach Bell during my freshman and sophomore year at Cedar Valley. Playing volleyball growing up, I’ve had plenty of male and female coaches, and I can confidently say she is one of my favorites. She does her best to work with the cards she is given and is driven/passionate about her players. She can be intimidating, but when you have a conversation with her, whether it’s about volleyball or life, she is genuinely caring and understanding. She also has A LOT of stories. I really appreciated her belief and trust in me as a player and a person. Even during a really tough mental time I had coming back from an injury, she and Coach Ceaser never gave up on me, but were still continuously tough on me and guiding me physically and mentally. I now carry the knowledge I have from my experience from CV and her into my personal and coaching life <3 There's so much more I could say and talk about, but this would be really long lol, but I was blessed to have her as a coach and now an adult relationship with her!
