"She had very inappropriate relationships with her players as she does not respect boundaries between being their coach and being their friend. She crossed the line when she became obsessive with this player and started implementing rules against her, screaming at her, and guilt tripping/manipulating her into doing things for her personal life. She would contact that player through iMessage, Instagram DM’s, and Snapchat excessively throughout the summer and school year. She would also leave hateful voicemails when the player wouldn’t do what the coach wanted her to. In addition, the coach would pin her best players against each for her approval. She would lie to a player on what the other player said about the team and the individual. She would bad mouth her players to other teammates or to the alumni. For example, she told her alumni that three players were drug addicts and one was an alcoholic despite none of them being anyway close to those claims. The team culture was incredibly tense and poor when she was present. She would over condition the players causing multiple of her players to get shin splints or tendinitis in their knees to a point where they can’t put pressure on it. It was prevalent during games because the players’ legs would be burnt out too quickly and would perform poorly in the fourth quarter. However, after she left the team won games and played amazingly in numerous fourth quarters because the team was conditioning less and the coach listened to their needs. The team had their best winning streak in program history when she was absence (she is not at Kalamazoo anymore). She was a poor coach to the team on numerous levels. "
