"Coach Nutt and the entire school is Christian based, old school by the book. If you don’t 100% act that way then you will be belittled, sat on the bench, or released from the team. Anything you do that she doesn’t agree with she’s going to make you feel like you’re less than. She has an open door policy to everyone, but will be the first to call a team meeting and air out all your business, private or not. You’re not allowed to have friends outside of the team without being bashed for it, male or female. This woman drained me of my love of the game and myself, causing an extreme mental toll on me where the point I was physically ill. “Mental health matters” but only when it’s beneficial to her and her track record. Unless you’ve played for her in the past on a travel team or know her personally outside of softball, I do not recommend. Also, the school itself is a cult and will be the first place to tell you you’re less than for not being Old Testament Christian. "
