"My daughter is in her second year of playing for Coach BK. Hard shoes to fill after Alice Ann Wilbur’s legacy. I think this coach has great potential. Seems to run intentional practices that are strategic. Only problem I have seen is too much reliance on hot headed assistant Coach Junior. He has an old school approach to soccer and seems to control the game strategy and half time talks. Would like to see her establish herself as a true head coach. The subbing strategy is terrible (my daughter starts and plays most of the game, so not minutes related, they have a deep bench they rarely use strategically), and it’s clear that he handles set pieces and offensive strategy because that’s where they struggle. The offensive approach is often chaotic and breaks down by the second half with no coaching adjustments (they just keep sending it into the middle which other teams figure out quickly). She coaches the defense in practice and they are very organized and work well together as a team. Wish she could find a real offensive coach. Would like to see her get the confidence she needs to really run the team the way she wants to and not defaulting to JR as much as she does. Otherwise, overall a fan."
