His direct approach and unwavering commitment to developing young men are precisely what our next generation of leaders desperately needs. I had the privilege of playing for Pete at Fitchburg State University approximately 20 years ago. He played a pivotal role in my development as a player. However, his impact extended far beyond my athletic achievements. He was a significant influence on my personal growth and character. Pete embodies the essence of a straightforward and honest individual. He doesn’t hesitate to provide the raw and unfiltered feedback that is essential for growth. He consistently believed in me, held me accountable for my actions both on and off the field, and instilled in me a strong work ethic and discipline.
