"Rick is an incredibly respectful and approachable coach. His strength as a coach lies in the coaching staff he builds around him and his emphasis on his swimmers outside the pool (i.e., academics, leadership, kindness). There's a lot of potential with the program, and I always felt that Rick could've done a better job at maintaining momentum with recruiting + refreshing the program itself to stay on top of new trends in swimming. Overall, solid coach and one that builds a fun environment to be around."
