"Robert is a great person and also a fantastic coach! He is a super goofy guy that makes practice fun with his lighthearted demeanor. His practices are a grind and involve a lot of yardage but I believe he knows what he is doing, albeit his training methods are old fashioned. Robert has a serious interest in the student part of student athlete and really does care about what his swimmers are doing. Highly recommend!"

"Robert has been one of my favorite coaches in all my life. He will be brutally honest at times, but he will always look out for you. Even when people have made mistakes having them be kicked off his team, he gave them a job. He’s very goofy which can keep the day to day grind of training fun or at least bearable. His sets can be a bit repetitive, and it may take him so much longer than the average coach to give you the set. But the sets will make you better, and you will be able to bond with your teammates about his antics in a good way. He will do everything he possibly can for the people that he knows and cares for."
