With him as my coach I experienced the most mentally and physically draining time of my life, I do not recommend anyone to go through what my teammates and I did."

"If you enjoy being miserable and losing then Robert Podeyn is your dream coach. He has no knowledge of the game and the only advice he takes is from his wife who has 0 soccer experience. Robert is the last person I would want to watch over my daughter when I sent her to college. He is selfish and pushes his responsibilities on players and downgrades his assistant coaches. If you need any other reason not to play for Robert Podeyn then just take a look at his record."

"This coach has done nothing but take a group of girls and fail to lead. He has forced them to run beyond their limit to simply feel a sort of power. He not only mentally degrades players, but is also a terrible soccer coach. This team has gotten more fit, yes, but soccer skilled? No. This coach has no sense of “Soccer IQ”- something he says we lack despite the fact that this team has less wins in the past 3 year under Podeyn than there are letters in Podeyn. No player under Rob Podeyn would say kind things about him. While he is currently under investigation hes tugging at strings to help aid in his reasons for keeing a job. He should never be allowed to coach at Nicholls State again. "
