"Has been a bully for years and Davenport lets her get away with it. Treats female athletes like little girls, not adults. Theres a clear difference in the operations between male and female sports at DU. This is evident in all areas of the athletic department. "When only jv players that don’t take the game seriously, don’t work hard, party, take pictures of teammates partying, lie, start drama because they can’t throw or catch a ball like you…. You might be a problem in an athletic leadership position. Having personal relationships and calling kids like this all the time is strange behavior for an athletic administrator. If you had your way all these kids would be on Varsity and they would be 2-28 and the last place team in the conference.

"Completely divided the jv and varsity teams because she wanted extra money. So happy my kid transferred from this toxic place. She went out of her way to make the previous staff look bad. I’m sure she’s getting extra money now coaching the team. It’s coaching itself if you’re watching. The team is completely rebuilt and are pretty good. Disgusting anyone would say she is changing a culture or rebuilt the team. She likes toxic players, that aren’t good teammates and don’t work hard. "What happens when coaches are fired mid season? Someone has to step in to repair the culture. A challenging situation for sure, and if it wasn’t for Ronda the season would have likely folded. Clearly the toxic problems are retaliating against the DU softball program and athletic administration. The majority of comments are likely coming from those who have also set up fake social media accounts to claim mistreatment and a lack of talent. This is what happens when disgruntled individuals have to hide behind a curtain to rant online to defame a persons character. Thank you Ronda for stepping in and supporting this team. You are appreciated. The rest of you, it’s time to move on. Find something constructive to do with your time. Go make a difference and quit wallowing in your sorrows. "
"While being a woman with so much on her plate she has been able to be an athletic director, teach classes, and coach a D2 softball team. I don’t see how our errors in the field falls on her. Yes this year has been a roller coaster but she has been able to help this team grow in different ways and come back from something that was difficult for us. She is a caring coach providing hot breakfast before games and getting us all products and set up a “vanity” in our locker is something we have all loved. "

Yeah the situation sucks that the coaches got fired but it’s over and done with & everyone on the team has moved on and gotten over it.
