"Let’s stop pretending these reviews are coming from concerned athletes or parents, this is nothing more than a smear from the disgraced former head and assistant coaches who got fired for good reason. These are the same people who thought it was acceptable to steal from the locker room, mentally torment players behind closed doors, and run the program into the ground with ego, favoritism, and flat-out incompetence. They didn’t care about developing athletes or building a team, they cared about control, attention, and feeding their fragile egos. They manipulated young women, crushed confidence, created division, and made the sport miserable for people who once loved it. And how many players quit before the season even started because of them? That’s not normal, it’s a sign of a completely broken environment. Now they sit bitter, watching someone like Coach Varnesdeel come in and clean up their mess, build structure, accountability, and actual respect, and they can’t stand it. So instead of reflecting on their failures, they hide behind anonymous reviews, fabricating wild accusations and projecting their own toxic behavior onto the person who replaced them. It’s not just dishonest, it’s pathetic. Everyone who’s been around this program knows the truth, those two were a walking disaster, and the only thing worse than their coaching was the way they treated people. There’s a reason they’re out, and it has everything to do with who they are when no one’s watching."

"Spending 5 years at a school where your athletic director maybe came to 2 games is comical. We all watched Amber recruit loser kids and bring them in and sadly thats who Ronda feels for the most because of her son. Soft minded, entitled kids that aren’t good at softball. I didn’t play enough. Ok, my daddy will write something in. Pathetic and should be no part of d2 sports. "

"Has been a bully for years and Davenport lets her get away with it. Treats female athletes like little girls, not adults. Theres a clear difference in the operations between male and female sports at DU. This is evident in all areas of the athletic department. It never fails how she tries to push her son being single on female athletes. How many times can you she do this? It’s weird and wrong. "
"In competitive athletics if you have less talent you are placed on the jv team. Incredibly small thinking by anyone that thinks Ronda didn’t have a hand in placing the JV players on JV. Watching this all unfold, that has been the most laughable thing. Yes, she really likes you….as behind closed doors she’s bashing your personality and playing abilities. The hero isn’t such a hero if you actually pay attention. Using you to get what she wants is her biggest flex. "
"Cool? Do you mean COLD HEARTED. Classic Ronda wanting credit and appreciation for doing nothing. She did the same thing to the men’s golf coach who was a woman. She’s not a fan of hard work, teamwork or anyone that shares a different opinion. Low self esteem in a leadership position is a bad recipe. Ego driven against any woman that stands up to her. Most likely will need to hire a male in the position or a friend or both. Sad. "

"When your son transfers to three high schools because he can’t play it’s telling what type of athletic administrator you will be. EVIDENT JV players knew this and took advantage of you. That is the exact opposite of cool. "
"You cater to players that treat softball like a hobby. That have no love for the game and put no extra work in. The same players you didn’t win any games with in JV. You shouldn’t be a D2 athletic director. Rec ball is your true calling! You’ve made fun of varsity players you’re coaching now - you’re shameful! "
"When only jv players that don’t take the game seriously, don’t work hard, party, take pictures of teammates partying, lie, start drama because they can’t throw or catch a ball like you…. You might be a problem in an athletic leadership position. Having personal relationships and calling kids like this all the time is strange behavior for an athletic administrator. If you had your way all these kids would be on Varsity and they would be 2-28 and the last place team in the conference.

"I think she came to 2 of our games when Amber was abusing us. I think she liked seeing the downfall of the program as she allowed the recruiting to sink then added jv. DU is so messed up now. "
"Completely divided the jv and varsity teams because she wanted extra money. So happy my kid transferred from this toxic place. She went out of her way to make the previous staff look bad. I’m sure she’s getting extra money now coaching the team. It’s coaching itself if you’re watching. The team is completely rebuilt and are pretty good. Disgusting anyone would say she is changing a culture or rebuilt the team. She likes toxic players, that aren’t good teammates and don’t work hard. The exact opposite of what it appears this team is built on. Still happy my kid transferred but it’s a pretty good little team. "
