"Coach Giambanco is one of the only coaches I know that does the most for his athletes. Makes sure they get the get on the best running surfaces by taking them to trails all throughout Long Island, gives specific training plans catered to each individual athlete, and strategically uses his limited resources to make sure the athletes can be successful. "Coach is a good man. He knows everything there is to know about distance running, and is obsessed with the sport. He has taken the program from the bottom of the conference and region to the top half and developed many elite individuals. At first I wasn't a fan but over time I realized he was just holding an extremely high standard which he did for himself as well and genuinely wanted us to be successful. Coach didn't recruit me but I am glad hofstra hired him in and grateful for the impact he had on me and the program.
