"Coach Zach Perkins is an incredibly knowledgeable collegiate coach that loves what he does and it shows. He has built an amazing program at Anna Maria after years of working his way up the ranks and building his experience on both the men’s and women’s side of college hockey. Zach respects his players and always has an open door to listen to their concerns. He takes feedback seriously and makes adjustments based on that feedback, while still maintaining a strong presence as a head coach. Zach has had the most wins in program history each of the last few years and has the career record for wins. The program is more competitive every year and he has committed to building the program. His intelligence and professionalism shine through when you look at his success. Last year his penalty kill was best in the country. He has extensive knowledge in all areas of the game including goaltending. "
