"When I went to my overnight visit with the Colby-Sawyer Women's Cross-Country and Track and Field team, I felt very accepted as one of the team members. I was taken to different events on campus, allowed to see a class being taught, and also was able to meet most of the team, watch a practice, and eat dinner with the entire team. I felt that I fit right in, and the athlete that I stayed with on my first overnight visit ever at a college was very welcoming, accepting, and answered all the questions that I had about the team environment, culture, and the school itself. The coaches interacted very personably, were humorous, and I felt like I could see myself there over the next four years, which is why I eventually chose to go to the school. I really enjoyed my time with the athletes, staff, coaches, and my future teammates, with whom I am still best friends to this day. I would definitely recommend this school and team if you are passionate about running, want a close-team-knit environment, and also like small class sizes, close relationships, and friendships."
