"Coach Sean Henning has been my coach at Biola University for 3 years now in Cross Country and Track and Field. Since the beginning of my time on the team, he has expressed his belief in me despite the low points I have had in my athletic career. He has coached me to some outstanding performances and cares deeply about each of his athletes, whether or not they are one of the fastest or the slowest on the team. He can be intense at times, but that is because he is deeply passionate about coaching. He desires the bring the best out of all of his athletes. He is always honest when he thinks you can do better, and guides you in the process of improvement. Not only does he care about you as an athlete, he also cares about you as an individual, and seeks to know each of his athletes on a deeper level."
