"Coach Fahey is a very caring individual that has dedicated his life to lacrosse. With that being said, he lacks modern lacrosse IQ, and struggles to develop players outside of the goalie position. He has a good understanding of the defense but struggles with offensive players. He relies very heavily on the assistant coaches, who are typically ex-players of the team. He cares deeply for the starters on the team, and everyone else is written off (coming from a starter). He is a very emotional person that often lets his feelings get the best of him, as practices are bi-polar in how intense/serious they will be. Modern lacrosse has changed a lot in the past 10 years, and it is apparent that he struggled to keep up with changing times. The defensive system and clear package has been the exact same for over 6 seasons, even when the team is statistically struggling to clear the ball. The lack of change when things are clearly not working is his biggest issue. Outside of lacrosse, he is a very caring person that wants to see his players succeed in life. He is VERY awkward in social situations, so do not take offense to his inability to have long conversations."
