"Working with Coach Ramina was truly transformational. From the start, she was a beacon of positivity, constantly encouraging us to push past our limits while maintaining a calm, focused demeanor. Her coaching style was all about balance—she knew when to push us hard and when to pull back and let us figure things out on our own. It wasn’t just about technique; it was about building mental toughness, and Ramina was a master at that. One of the most memorable stories with her came during a particularly intense training session. We were all exhausted, and the team was feeling demoralized. Ramina gathered us around and shared a story from her own experience, where she had been in a similar situation and fought through the pain. She told us, “This is where growth happens, not when you’re comfortable, but when you think you can’t go any further.” That moment stuck with me, and I remember pushing through that session with a new perspective. The culture she cultivated was one of mutual support. She always emphasized that we were a team first, and that meant lifting each other up when things got tough. Whether it was on the field or off, Ramina made sure that the team was always a family."
