"Doug is a disgrace to South Dakota State Jackrabbit athletics, and especially the swim program. There is a reason the swim team has never won a conference title, and never will until he is replaced. Terrible communicator, same training regiment for four years, picks favorites, shows up late, lies to you, and a lot more! He also let his daughter on the team, who got away with just about everything. If this isn’t a red flag, I don’t know what is. Don’t fall for the salesman he and others are on recruiting trips, don’t judge the book by its cover. Seeing other athletic programs at SDSU succeed except for mine was very underwhelming and disappointing. But it is easy to understand with what transpires on a daily basis at the Marshall Center Pool."

"Krista wood knows absolutely nothing about softball and she is a terrible person. Transferred out and no happier than ever. If you want to play you better be on her good side and do extra work that she will watch you on the cameras. She also cannot comprehend mental health issues and turns the conversation back on her. "

"Its time you get off your high horse! You are not what one would classify as a good coach and the saddest part is you aren’t even respected by your athletes. You need to take a long look in the mirror and quit blaming others for your lack of knowledge and seek accountability. Talking bad about your players to other players is not only unacceptable, but it also shows just how immature you truly are. Manipulating stats is a whole other issue that I am sure Creighton’s Athletic Director should be made aware of. As a head coach that cannot make decisions during games and is constantly seeking this from your assistants truly brings light to the quote “fake it, until you make it.” It is baffling that you have made it to the level you have and somehow have found a way to keep a coaching job. I pray for all the incoming freshman. They have no idea the amount of crazy they are getting ready to step into. If you have other options I strongly recommend you revisit them before being coached by Krista Wood! "

"SHE IS NOT A COACH. SHE IS SOMEONE TO FILL THE SPOT TILL THE SCHOOL DROPS THE PROGRAM. HOPEFULLY THE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR DOES SOMETHING ABOUT HER. SHE WAISTS MONEY AND HENDERS THE GIRLS LOVE OF THE GAME. SHE DOESNT RECRUIT WELL. SHE IS VERY LAZY AND DOESNT CARE TO PUT THE EFFORT INTO HER GIRLS. IF THE GIRLS LEAVE THE TEAM SHE SHAMES THEM AS IF SHE IS THE BEST THEY COULD DO. I HAVE LOOKED BACK AT PAST PLAYERS AND THERE AVERAGE SCORES GENERALLY GO UP. 50% OF WHAT SHE SAYS IS TRUE. SHE LIES ON VISITS. JUST DONT GO TO HER. "

"Divide & Conquer type of leadership. Starters matter, others do not. Talks negatively to players, about other players. Staff splits. Mentality is of those she surrounds self with- 18 to 21yr Olds. Provides extremely harsh public criticism, enjoys humiliation tactics & wants to see players breakdown & cry. Physical Military type punishment & intimidation in retaliation for losing games. Huge ego and cannot accept accountability for own self. Blames others. She always asks assistant coach ,what to do in game situations & who to start. She will manipulate official stats to make or break players. If you are on her good side, you are golden. If she doesn't think you are starter material, you will be ignored with no further development & then your scholarship reduced or removed at end of season. She has given away a starters' jersey number (without any indication to said player) when she found a better player out of the transfer portal. "

"She will not have players play of 18 holes enough only once or twice a week this is not enough practice. Players use carts instead of walking. Only uses 9 hole rounds for qualifying so she can manipulate who she plays. She wont always count some rounds if her favorite players do poorly. She only does 9 hole practice because she leaves to go pick up child at day care. She will not post all. qualification scores so no one knows where they stand in order. She only motivates with fear of dropping you from program. Plays who she wants not who qualifies. She Talks trash about other players and creates a toxic environment. Refused to want to hear about team concerns or issues such as under age drinking. Tells players to figure it out and don't stir up problems, get along says I don't want to hear about hazing from upper class men players. Lied at visit about how things go and where players can practice at and when."

"Lack of care for athletes or the program in general. Shows up 30-45 minutes late for practices and spends most of his time in his office. Provides little to no coaching to athletes and doesn’t take the time to build relationships with athletes. He could care less about work ethic as he allows athletes to skip practices constantly, break NCAA protocol, etc. with no consequences. If you’re fast he’ll let you get away with anything, but if you aren’t the top swimmer in your event he could care less about you. Wish I wouldn’t have spent my 4 years of eligibility as an athlete of his. "
