"Longwood charges $100 a semester hour to all students and that is how it really funds the program. You think they treat atheletes well but the truth is at least with Womens Golf they put 3 to a room and have weird qualifiers where Meagan Weaver decides to move the ball and pick the results. To put it bluntly they hired a coach who should never be a coach. She goes out her way to make players play when there hurt. To top it off she has no clue on how to fund raise and basically wants parents to chip in. The girls have to cold call alumni who hang up, Sleep 3 to a room and endure endless stories how other players where mean to her.
Atheltic Director knows about her and yet chooses to keep her. There are also rumors they can't afford the Golf Course. Basically don't go here for true D1 golf experience and expecially avoid Coach Weaver. "
