"He is everything opposite of what a good coach should be. All I can say is be careful choosing this coach. He coaches with threats!! Not a mentor or someone you can talk to. He is not respectful to players . He will not help you with your career. Not a great leader and does not develop his team beyond the field!! Does not care about academics who’s is wild being a juco. I wouldn’t recommend this coach or school until they get rid of him. "
"The football program used to be amazing they used to have a coach that cared about the young men coming in to play. Now it’s more of a bully culture. The head coach is the WORST!! Even the assistant coaches can’t stand up to him. Leaving the program was the best thing I could’ve done for football career and mental. Hard work does not payoff at this program but your money does. Be careful when choosing this program while Erickson is still the coach. He is a rogue coach that can do whatever he wants and the school protects him."
"He treats everyone with respect no matter who they are or where they are from. He is always there for every player, whether male or female. He is extremely knowledgeable of the game and is the best coach over all that I have ever played for. Everyone on his team is like family to him and each other."
