She ruined my college softball experience. She seemed very nice, caring, and passionate before I signed to play at UVA-Wise, but once I was on the squad and practice started she was a completely different person. I agree with another comment about her being bipolar. You never knew what you were going to get from her on any given day. Her bad attitude as a coach unfortunately infected the team as well, then wondered why we all felt the way we did and were required to take "classes" led by her on leadership and personal development. They all are smart enough to leave. If you want to be forced to stay on thanksgiving and to be the schools pet, look no further! Be prepared to not improve your game! There is only one coach since the assistants are to afford to speak up! If you love having a CURFEW as an adult or having to ask permission to sleep somewhere else other than your dorm this place is for you. If you want to be de-humanilized every single day and screamed at that her face turns blue this place is for you. Also, she cares more for her dog than she will ever for you. She takes all her anger out on us hehe, made me feel special. Anyways, DO NOT COME HERE!"

This staff does not care about their players outside of softball whatsoever. Mental health conversations were discouraged and even made fun of as well. This especially hurt since several players see counselors. We were told not to be mentally weak and to deal with our problems. "
