"Chris is a very positive coach that cares about the culture of the team. He brings a lot of energy to the pool deck during practices and at meets. When I was on the team we practiced in separate training groups for sprint and distance and Chris primarily coached the sprinters while the assistant coach coached the distance group. At times I felt like he was a little bit disconnected from my training because of this split which could be a little frustrating when it came to decisions regarding meet lineups. Overall I had a great experience swimming at UConn and loved the team and environment."
