"I was lucky enough to be coach Rodriguez's favorites and because of that I actually got playing time, but it was very obvious that she played favorites and it put me in an uncomfy position a lot of the time."
"I barely got any playing time under coach Rodriguez, she would only play a certain set of players and would never stray from it no matter the situation"

"I experIenced first hand Mags sitting top players because they didn’t fall in line with her politics and sorority girl mentality. Take note: she puts a special emphasis on her all female staff. She came up under a male coach but she only takes on females on her staff. If you are a team player but aren’t one her cult groupies she will sit you. She’s a smart tactical coach but lacks the ability to deliver big wins because her agenda comes first. Many top players have opted to leave her because of this."
"Good organized coach. Played against his teams. He is very fair. Would schedule any time.met his team in Bermuda many years ago. His players were respect of opponents"
"Dan Hurley is so enthusiastic about his team and his sport. He puts his heart into every play, every mistake, every practice, and every game. He’s a great coach and has done exceptional things to the program. "
"Not a positive-growth motivator. Pushes players by shaming them, punishing them, gaslighting them with unfulfilled promises, lies & false compliments, Says one thing, does another. Coach’s choice of words and actions underscore a very unhealthy mental health culture (2019-current). Players are also expected to keep quiet and told that their friends & family can’t be trusted with knowing what’s going on behind the scenes, and threatened if they do. Run, don’t walk. Not to be trusted if you’re looking for a positive d1 experience with a staff that truly cares about player development on & off field. "
"Horrible. Does not know what he’s doing. Thinks juco is the highest level of college athletics and does not know how to prepare you for success or transfer. Plays favorites. He’s honestly really sensitive but in a bad way. Can’t take criticism, gets upset with questions. Do not recommend. "
"The team welcomed me with open arms. The facilities were sick and the team was so nice. They showed me just about everything and I would recommend atleast visiting here!"
"Everything my daughter needs is within minutes of each other and she can walk to anything! She always talks about how amazing her locker room is and how they really do make the women’s teams at UConn feel special and appreciated as much as the men "
"JJ Clark is a fantastic head coach who does a wonderful job at creating and maintaining a healthy and cohesive team dynamic. He cares deeply about each athlete on a personal level. "
"Knows how to get the best out of the players. the success in the playoffs speak for itself.
He is surrounded by incredible assistant coaches who could be headcoaches themselves. "
"Always available to talk even after you are long gone from the program. Has done amazing things with that program with the limited resources he has had. His record speaks for itself.
If you get the opportunity, Go here."
"Katie Woods is hands down one of the best coaches I ever had. She cares deeply about her program and balances the importance of academics and lacrosse."
"She definitely wants everyone to be the best that they can, but her strategy is awful. Many games could've been won with having a coach that has a higher softball IQ than her. She's indirect and mentally exhausts players and not for the better. Also she supports her assistant coach Adrienne harassing players until the cry. Time for UConn to upgrade"
"Loved her off the field. In between the lines of I was manipulated as a player and a person. I worked hard everyday and never saw playing time. Parents, other coaches, and teammates always wondered why I wasn't playing. Favorites is her game, if your not one, you wont touch the field. She pushed me to my mental and psychical everyday. "
"Overall a very nice guy who has good intentions but doesn't do a good job in investing in his players as people and finding ways to make each player reach their individual potential. Knows the game of volleyball very well and has a good on the court system of play but doesn't understand how to create a strong, motivating team dynamic very well."
"Teammates are like a family, but there is a strong agreement that woods is not their favorite person. Plays favorites among players although she would never admit it"
"To her credit, she creates a family atmosphere and strong team bond unlike many other teams. However, she is too stubborn to ever change her ways or admit she's wrong. While her practices can be effective, she is not a strategic or dynamic game coach."
"She is hardcore but always has the player's best interest at heart. She will definitely push you to your extremities but you will definitely be better for it."
"Coach Mac is a phenomenal woman. My first two college softball years were rough and at the end of my sophomore year, I considered either transferring or giving up the sport I loved. I stayed knowing there would be a change in the program and could be a hit or miss, and this one was a definite hit. Coach Mac helped make the game fun again. I always tell her, I wish I had her all four years versus just two. She absolutely loves the game and you can see it on and off the field!"
"Coach Mackenzie is the epitome of what a Division 1 College Hockey Coach should be. He was fair to all of his players- playing time was not based on what class you were, who's recruit you were or picking favourites. He stressed that hockey was our THIRD priority, following Family and Academics. He made going to the rink everyday, the best part of your day. Lastly, he cared about each and every individual as if we were his own daughter. He would go above and behond for any player."
"It was short lived, but I had a great experience. The coach was committed and caring. More funding for student athletes is something I believe the NCAA should consider., If they want to continue attracting and keeping high level athletic talent. At many school, a lot of sports like tennis, swimming, and track for instance have very limited scholarship budgets."
