"She is a wonderful coach, who not only helps excel your volleyball talent, but helps shape young girls into exceptional women! A hard job she does with grit and grace!"
"I was blessed enough to play for Coach Bell during my freshman and sophomore year at Cedar Valley. Playing volleyball growing up, I’ve had plenty of male and female coaches, and I can confidently say she is one of my favorites. She does her best to work with the cards she is given and is driven/passionate about her players. She can be intimidating, but when you have a conversation with her, whether it’s about volleyball or life, she is genuinely caring and understanding. She also has A LOT of stories.
I really appreciated her belief and trust in me as a player and a person. Even during a really tough mental time I had coming back from an injury, she and Coach Ceaser never gave up on me, but were still continuously tough on me and guiding me physically and mentally. I now carry the knowledge I have from my experience from CV and her into my personal and coaching life <3
There's so much more I could say and talk about, but this would be really long lol, but I was blessed to have her as a coach and now an adult relationship with her! "
"Coach Bell coached me my freshman and sophomore year of college. I learned the most about volleyball through her. She was patient, passionate, and very invested in our development- on the court, in the classroom, and as individuals. If I could go back in time to play for her again, I would do it in a heartbeat! "
"Isabel is an incredible coach & leader who truly brings out the best in her players. Her passion for the game, attention to detail, and commitment to growth are evident in everything she does. The team not only improves their skills but also gains confidence and discipline under her guidance."
"Coach Bell was an incredible coach who left a lasting impact on me, both on and off the court. Her vision for the team stretched beyond just winning games at Dallas College; she had a bigger picture in mind that made a lasting impact on all of us, even if it was sometimes hard to see at the moment.
She understood her players. Not just their abilities but their struggles, their potential, and their growth. I’ve carried the advice she gave me, both during practices and in personal conversations, long after leaving the team. It’s not just about volleyball with her, it's about growth as an athlete and as a person. Her insight was honest, real, and rooted in a deep understanding of what it took to reach your full potential.
We had our moments of disagreement, mainly because her vision for the team was sometimes different from our own, but looking back, those challenges were part of what helped us develop. She pushed us hard, but ultimately, it was that push that helped me get to where I am today."
"I had the honor to play for Coach Bell my sophomore year in college. I truly felt the dedication she puts in on and off the court. I remember always doing sats in practice and games. In my experience she was able to explain my mistakes and correct them at the same time. I remember her correcting a bad habit of swinging my arms trying to make a pass and her explaining how getting in front of it gives me more control. I appreciate somebody correcting me instead of just getting in trouble for it with no explanation. "
"Being coached by Coach Bell has been a huge part of my growth as a person. She’ll challenge you mentally and expects you to compete at your highest level. At first, she can be come off as harsh at times, but once you openly connect with her, you see beyond the demands. You realize how deeply she cares and how much she believes in you. "
"coach was honest and intense, always pushing us to reach our potential both on and off the field. She genuinely cared about our futures beyond the sport, often encouraging us to think long-term and make smart choices. While she could have benefited from establishing clearer boundaries with players, her dedication and commitment made her a solid and impactful coach overall."
"Definitely doesn’t care about her players. The team culture is negative and the coaches are to blame. Plenty of talent to have a successful season, yet no success. Coach “Belle” is a typical mean girl. Seems to enjoy that. Too bad… the school is great and town is great. The coaches and athletic department could care less. Another team has transferred out, something needs to change there. I’d start with the coaches… maybe the athletic director should go too. Doesn’t seem to care what is happening. "
