"I have had Coach Alex for years now and she has made me a better person and player. She does not just care about athletic performance but about you as a person. I have grown to love the game more than I did before because of the environment she creates. I have always admired the way the coaching staff outlines roles and structure through team mottos and themes. Any negativity that is written about the program usually stems from personal issues with playing time or individuals not liking their specific roles. The CNE is a very tough conference and Coach Alex puts out the best nine to compete while readily pulling from the bench when needed. Like on any other team people leave and Coach Alex has always handled those situations promptly and professionally despite the circumstances players put her in. Practices are a great mix of high reps and broken down skill sets in both hitting and fielding. She goes above and beyond by being available for office hours or individual hitting sessions whenever we need the extra work. Team culture is a priority and that is clear from the team camping trip to dinners at the coaches house. "
