"Coach Marks is all about winning. Of course everyone wants to win, but with negative comments and poor leadership when losing games puts unnecessary pressure on players. As a young coach, Marks hangs out with players in his office, at first this seemed like a great way to connect with players and bond. However, there was so much gossip happening that made players feel uncomfortable, as well as the fact the Marks cannot keep a secret. If a player wants to know something, just ask him 2-3 time and then the cat is out of the bag. Hanging out with players also causes favoritism, and another Avenue for gossip. This caused horrible team chemistry and as a team that calls itself a brotherhood, this just did not fit. Marks is a friary coach passionate about winning. I do believe that many of his flaws will diminish as he grows and matures as a coach. He knows the game very well, and usually makes in game decisions well. If you are strictly looking to win, you may like coach marks, but if you are looking for a team to develop and grow as a person and player, this may not be the team for you."
