"I am the photographer for the womens lacrosse team at xavier. She made me feel like I was really part of the team. I really appreciate how she made me feel welcomed even tho I am the photographer. "
"Coming from someone who has played under both coaches at Xavier University, the difference is extremely noticeable. Coach Britt provides a safe and healthy environment to grow as an individual and as an athlete. She makes sure that players are taken care of not only physically but also mentally, creating a safe space to talk about mental health. "
"From the start, Coach Morris seems to be very supportive of her players and truly cares about them as student athletes. She is extremely positive on and off the field. She definitely has Xavier lacrosse moving in a positive direction! "
"Coach Morris inherited a mess. She has done an amazing job in rebuilding trust, instilling a new found confidence in the girls, and finally laying the foundation on building a healthy team culture and program. She genuinely cares about the development of her players beyond the lacrosse field. Looking forward to seeing where she can take this program. "
"Cares so much for each player. Injured, MVP, no playing time, manager, or photographer. Everyone is a part of the team, and she makes that very clear. "
"Coach Britt came on board about a year ago and really had a disaster to clean up. She had to rebuild the team on many levels. Throughout the year her door was always open to start to build relationships, talk lacrosse, talk academics, talk about life in general. Some of the team took advantage of this, some did not, but it was always available to the girls. She has led the team with honesty, care, and knowledge. While the season did not bring as many wins as the program wanted, it brought closer games, more positive interactions, and a team who was more dedicated to the game. There is still a lot of work to be done to build the team skill-wise and culture-wise but Xavier is definitely back on track. "
"Coach Brittany inherited a complete mess at Xavier but she has taken the roll on with kindness, knowledge, commitment, enthusiasm, and determination. She knows that her number one job is to help this team love the game again and so far is doing just that. She is getting to know the team, spending countless hours building the program and doing all she can to help this team move on. She has brought on a caring and knowledgeable staff, including her husband. We will see how everything will shake out during the spring season but so far Brittany is exactly who should be leading this team. "
