"Coach Walker is an amazing coach. She is intense and doesn't sugarcoat bad performance, but at the Division 1 level, that is exactly what is expected of a head coach. I have been under her coaching for four years and have seen insane improvement. As long as you listen to her cues and do your best to apply them, you will see growth. She is also very passionate about the sport and the team; she cares about her athletes and has gone out of her way to ensure that my experience at Towson is good, even when I was going through a hard time. She does not tolerate poor representation of our team or poor treatment of our team and will speak out for us whenever necessary. I have a lot of respect for her, and she is my biggest role model. Team culture is also really important to her, and she does not hesitate to remove someone who hinders it or is a liability to the team if no other solution is viable. In my four years with her, I have seen this team prosper, and I can say that my teammates are my best friends. The team is now closer than ever, and Coach Walker most definitely influenced that in how she runs the team. Coach Walker does a wonderful job at separating practice times to ensure that all her athletes get her utmost attention. I would like to add in here that I have seen another review on here that suggested otherwise; however, as someone who has thrived under her leadership, I can say very confidently that Coach Walker respects her athletes no matter who they are or what they look like. Anyone who has had a problem on this team or lost their spot on the team did so due to their own personal choices and actions unbecoming of a Division 1 Towson athlete. "
