"I played for Craig for 3 years 2, as a head coach 1 as an assistant. Two years in a row his conduct was so bad that players organized a meeting with the AD to suggest that he was let go because of how uncomfortable he made players both on and off the field. He’s the best recruiter in the world, he works like the US military, he will tell you EXACTLY what you want to hear and will cut you after the fall because he ofer recruited and doesn’t have enough scholarship money. I played a significant amount of time under him, and the meetings were filled with not only bench players, but our everyday starting lineup as well. Do yourself a favor, go to a JUCO, go d2 go d3 if Wagner is your ONLY division 1 offer PLEASE, DO NOT GO!!!!! In 2022 and 2023 the average weight loss per player was over 8 pounds as we were sent away in our hotel rooms most nights we lost with dinner being at 4 leaving us stranded with nothing to eat most nights. You may not believe me if you’ve only met him on the surface as he hides this version of himself very well. I ask that you reach out to a players who played in 2022 and 2023 any of them they will share the same feelings I do. STAY AWAY!"
