"Until St. Lawrence fires Coach Puck, this program is ruined and will be in the dumps. He is one of the worst program managers and quite honestly usually ends his seasons with his players absolutely hating the sport of football. Football was one of my favorite things in the world until I played for Puck. He is incapable of leading men and speaks to his players in incredibly brash and disrespectful ways. The way he conducts himself around his coaches is awful too. NO PLAYER SHOULD EVER GO TO SLU TO PLAY FOOTBALL UNTIL COACH PUCK HAS BEEN FIRED. I'm writing one review but I could easily find at least 60+ teammates to piggy back on this exact sentiment. "
"Coach Puck isn’t for everyone simply put. He’s intense, firm, and passionate. Players that commit to the program, do what they’re supposed to do, and go the extra mile will be rewarded in some regard. But nothing is given, everything is earned.
SLU’s best teams historically have always been the most diverse. The locker room experience is the backbone of this program. College football is hard but some of the greatest lessons in life are through the grind with your brothers. Hopefully the program can get back to a championship pedigree. "
"Coach Puck is someone who is going to be straight up with you, whether you like it or not. Cares about how you develop as a person to help your future. Was always honest and open to me. Very easy to talk to and have conversations about anything. Was a large reason on why I decided to come to SLU."
"Coach Puckh was not a good coach in my opinion, he was dealing with off the field issues and took it out on the players. Not one practice was without screaming cursing someone out."
"Cuts some guys lots of slack and others not. Also gives mean comments to some guys in front of the team that some times are too far. Cares about academics a lot and gives a good impression one on one, but on the field is much less caring and too biased towards his favorite guys."
