"Dave's a great guy off the court but it was difficult to play for him. I constantly asked to be let into the gym to work on my shot but he never would open it for me. I had to befriend the custodian at the time for access. I felt like he often didn't care if we won or lost games. His wife was more of the backbone of the team."
