"This coach does not appear focused on developing the team. Training sessions lack structure and clear planning, and there is little effort to build team chemistry. Media and communication around the program are also lacking. The team has struggled competitively, winning no more than one game per season over the past two years. Recruiting has been ineffective, which has further impacted performance. Several concerns were raised with the Athletic Director two years in a row, but because the AD has a personal relationship with the coach, no action has been taken. As a result, frustration within the program has grown. Nearly half the team, including several starters, has quit. Those who remained were largely scholarship athletes who felt they had no choice but to stay."
