"I have been extremely disappointed with the coaching at this establishment, particularly with Coach Delayna. She blatantly picks favorites, disregarding skill and effort, which creates an exclusive, cliquey team culture. Her behavior promotes unhealthy food habits and a lack of dietary and athletic discipline among the team. Her mood swings are severe, ranging from lashing out one day to being pleasant the next. Moreover, she encourages unethical behavior, such as stealing on team-sponsored trips, and she enables underage drinking on team travel. During feedback meetings, she pretends to be receptive but makes no effort to change. The most troubling issue is her protection of alleged sexual assault perpetrators, with three cases reported in just one year. Despite this, other coaches seem to believe she is the best fit for the program, making any hope for change unlikely. She points the finger at the boys for the reason as to why stunting skills have not progressed, but really it’s because she refuses to ground the girls (make the ones that are unsafe to fly bases)."
