"Do not believe what her Instagram profile portrays about her commitment to building up women. She is all in on top recruits and gets great results. But if she doesn't like you for any reason or knows she will have to cut you, she turns on you completely. She also consistently over-recruits, and several freshmen or sophomores are cut every year. I also had teammates who were cut off from facilities and benefits for months before, during the summer, before she finally got around to cutting them. Several teammates were body-shamed for wearing one-piece swimsuits or not taking off their tank tops at practice because they weren't "confident enough to show off their bodies." She often actively opposes LDS standards and teachings and creates a culture of gossip and comparison. She has an "inner circle" of girls she favors and will talk badly about you to those girls. One teammate who suffered from clinical anxiety was often used as a scapegoat for why others' races went badly. She said it brought negative energy to the whole team rather than helping her. Almost the whole team is seeing the same therapist because of her, and he knows it's bad too. "

"It's been amazing to see coach Taylor turn into an exceptional coach who is leading the way for female professional coaches. I just wish this was the coach I had when I was her athlete. She did care and did give her all, however she missed the signs of my performance anxiety. I feel I could of done better had she been more understanding and supportive. Don't get me wrong she is an amazing coach. Again, I just wish I had this version of her when I competeted for her. "
