He emphasizes a family team culture and treats all his players like daughters, which is contrary to many coaches who sometimes treat collegiate athletics as a business transaction. Coach Eric’s coaching style also reflects a strong commitment to hard work and discipline. "Coach Faulconer’s philosophy is for players to earn their positions by working hard, going above what he asks and give it 100% when on the field. As a parent of one of the players, he has done a lot to help my daughter reach the next level. However, she worked hard for it and he saw that in her practice, training and in the games. They have developed a great relationship of coach/mentor and player. I will be forever grateful for her time at UNF and for the coaching staff at UNF."
