No player wants to be injured or sit out a game, but the coaching staff do not care about safety, only results. They don't realize that you can have both if done correctly. They do not encourage the players to be better, they just expect it. They don't coach them on "How" to improve their game, only criticize and belittle them when the lose. On paper they pretend to be caring and uplifting to the team, but behind closed doors they tell their players to never approach them before or after a game, and no matter the issue that they will always back up each other, meaning the coach and assistant coach.
