"Although thrown into this role unexpectedly she did well to help her team gain positive team culture. She was young but worked hard and actually listened to her team."

"Coach Halle went through an unbelievable amount of adversity and was treated extremely poorly by the first head coach I played for. Despite being berated, criticized, and undermined on a daily basis, she stayed positive and did the best she could with the limited support and resources she had. When the program went through its second coaching transition, she was the one constant. Honestly, without her, I don’t think the program would have survived that period. She showed up every day for the players when the people above her were failing us. It was also hard to watch last year’s staff treat her poorly instead of mentoring and supporting her development, especially since they would not have even had a program to inherit without her holding things together. I’m extremely grateful for her and for everything she did to protect and support this team during the worst years of instability."
