"I would not recommend playing for this coach. She has knowledge and passion for the game but never directed it in an effective way. In no way did she have a connection with our team. It was very much coach vs. the rest of the program. She did not know how to connect with us. We knew nothing about her personally, and she thought knowing one of our hobbies was equal to knowing us outside of volleyball. No one on our team really respected her, because she continuously gave us reasons not to. People on campus didn't like her either. She was not good at the whole people thing. Was she the worst person ever? No. But there were numerous times where our team could have benefited and gone the extra mile if we had someone who we wanted to play for. But no one did. She was the most organized yet disorganized person I have met. She just tried really hard to focus and fix the wrong things. It was never efficient. Her corrections changed by the day, which was very confusing for our team. One day she yells because your feet are too wide; the next day they're too narrow. One day she yells becuase she thinks you're not engaged, the next it's "you're too much". Everyone was walking on eggshells, and it was hard to naturally be yourself. Questioning what you were doing all the time was a common way of thinking my team adapted due to her unstable coaching methods. She just was not the leader we needed, and we suffered because of it. "
