"Jeff Kaier is not a good coach, but that isn't my real issue. It's the mental angst and dare I say trauma he puts his players through. The Albany Baseball program will never be successful under someone like Kaier. Mueller is lazy and doesn't care at all, Kaier is abusive. The guy has serious mental issues Stay away"

"Kaier is a terrible communicator. Knee jerk reactions as a coach. Cant manage a bullpen or pitching staff. Has a losing mentality, gets out coached weekly and has no respect from his players. The fact that he's a D1 coach is disrespectful to the rest of D1 coaching staffs. Has capable coaches under him and tries to run the show himself. Game is too fast for him, horrible third base coach. Makes poor decision after poor decision. No character development whatsoever, he should not be around college kids at all."

"Coach kaier is a joke! This guy shouldn’t be able to coach at the college level. Has now knowledge of how to recruit players to make U Albany a decent D1 baseball program! If I was the AD at UAlbany I would definitely promote coach jones to the assistant coach position and get ride of Kaier once and for all! "

"With the AD in the stands you would have thought the outcome would be different. Game 7 on 5/24 depicts the tone of the season by just looking at 2 innings- the first and the 5th. Pitching decisions should be left to the pitching coach. The 5th inning speaks for itself- everyone knows Kaier ran those boys out of the inning, deflated their spirit and ended the season. Good luck- same mistakes over and over again- no lessons learned. "

"In order to write a review a star rating was needed. If negative stars was an option that would be accurate for this person - coach should not associated with his name. He is not knowledgeable or positive. what he is is overly intense and fosters a negative team culture. The blame lies above, because he is allowed to take on responsibilities beyond his scope which are not contributing to a winning season but instead are fostering a negative atmosphere. That being said the athletic director has had plenty of years to do his part and nothing has been done even though it has been brought to his attention. Maybe he should have every player and every parent that sit through these games and for the players practices and give you their insights, stories and negative conversations that are occurring. "
