Disorganized Poor Communication Fitness Is Important
"I wish I had something good to say about this coach, but I truly do not. She is a bully, a gossiper, an instigator, disorganized, places coach’s responsibilities unto players, and arguably abusive. She bullied multiple players into disorder eating and eating disorders, as well as causing them to have body dysmorphia. She disregards mental health, doesn’t believe mental illness is real, insinuated a player was “dangerous” because of their history of mental illness, and preaches that mental illness is a thing that can be cured through prayer (while at a secular school) On that note, she also has attempted to inappropriately force her religious beliefs into players. She has poked fun at players’ disabilities. She blamed the failure of the team on a victim of assault, stating that their “personal drama” was a distraction tor he team (despite most of the team not even being aware of the situation). She is a hypocrite that enforces team rules for some, but not for others. In the past 3 years as a coach at UNLV, her top players each year (both in performance, minutes, and accolades) have either transferred or went on to play professionally to escape the toxic and abusive environment she has created. The recounts of her toxic behavior are endless. To cap it all off, her lack of knowledge, organization, and professionalism coupled with her behavior shows, as the team continues to lack success. Jenny Ruiz-Williams should never be allowed to coach the minds of impressionable young women ever again. And this is all coming from a starter."
