"If I could rate zero I would. If you are passionate about the sport of golf I do not recommend playing here. Doesn’t know how to coach and only focus on one player. Will tell you all your failures but won’t help you fix anything, often had to go to outside coaches for help on the range and course. On top of focusing on one player, if you are playing bad he will not come help you during a tournament at all. After tournaments he will read off your stats and degrade you but never actually saw how you played at said tournament. Extremely questionable behavior off the course and forces religion on players no matter what their denomination is. Treats STUDENT-athletes like ATHLETES-students. Will put qualifying, practice, and weights above your classes. Makes entire team practice at one time, if you have class right then he isn’t understanding. "
"We hardly ever practice in season, it’s always qualifying. 18 holes Thursday and Friday, then 9 on Saturday. It’s too much. Then coupled with poor communication, no sense of team, and questionable off course behavior, it does not create an atmosphere conducive for success.
The team is just a group of individuals. No effort is made by anyone to set individual and team goals.
