"I ran under this coach, and the guy walks around like he’s running Alabama football when he’s really running a glorified group fitness class. The ego and the reality do not match. He spends more time talking trash about his own athletes than actually developing them, creates a toxic culture, and then acts shocked when the team underperforms year after year. It’s predictable at this point. The amount of athletes quitting or transferring is insane — 14+ in one season alone. And the funniest part? Everyone who left instantly started running faster somewhere else. That’s not a coincidence. That’s coaching. Honestly, he’s more qualified to be a middle of the night McDonald’s drive thru worker than a Division I coach. At least there the headset yelling would make sense."

"Seems great at first on your visit, then becomes super fake after your first year. Many people have transferred out and quit because of how much they cant stand how he runs the program. Literally go anywhere else and save yourself the trouble of transferring. If being petty won conference championships, he might actually start winning again."

"Former athlete of Coach Duvall. I will start this review by saying that he is a decent coach, but he has little to no real coaching background at a high level. Most of his training methods are outdated and not scientific at all. Also will write workouts he knows his athletes can’t achieve, and is clueless enough to wonder why so many of his athletes have major injuries. He is a spineless individual who cares about nothing besides his measley “sunbelt” coach of the year awards. If you are not performing, this coach will not care about you. Coach Duvall and Patchell also harass athletes and threaten them when you consider transferring schools. "
